Extent:
Two fragments of a long and narrow papyrus sheet which do not join, medium-brown, broken off at the bottom and complete at the top and on the sides; there is minor surface damage along the folds. Writing runs on both sides. On the front, there are 16 lines written along the fibres, the upper fragment bearing 6 lines, and the lower 10 lines; some lines were lost in between. The upper margin is ample; the right margin is minimal. On the back, there is one word written across the fibres the other way up in relation to the text on the front. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Right-hand portion of a papyrus slip another portion of which is in Florence, published as PSI V 492; medium-brown, overall well preserved, with minor damage along the horizontal folds; bearing writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are 6 lines written across the fibres, with lines 1-5 lacking the beginnings, which are preserved in the fragment in Florence; upper, lower and right margins are extant. The original clay seal is still preserved. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame with a small opening for the seal.
