Contract for the sale of a vacant lot with houses, located in Philadelpheia, sold by Plution, aged 28, who had inherited the land from his mother, to Thenapynchis. Plution acknowledges receipt of payment. His subscription is at the end.

Mid-dark brown papyrus sheet, broken off to the left, with holes and abrasion in the preserved portion; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There is one column of 32 lines, lacking the beginnings; upper and lower margins partly survive; no margin was left to the right. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Two joining fragments from the lower portion of a papyrus sheet, darkened and abraded in places. Writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. 19 lines from the foot of a column survive; the right margin is minimal, the lower margin is extant (30 mm), and left and upper margins are lost. A: Dark-brown papyrus fragment, apparently complete at the top, broken off on the other sides; with surface damage; written on one side along the fibres. The back is blank.

B: Dark-brown papyrus fragment, apparently complete at the top, broken off on the other sides; with surface damage; written on one side along the fibres. The back is darkened along the left edge and bears no writing.

C: Medium-brown papyrus strip, complete at the bottom, broken off on the other sides; with some surface damage; written on both sides, along the fibres on the front and across them on the back. The writing is effaced.

D: Dark-brown papyrus fragment, broken off on all sides; with severe surface damage; written on one side along the fibres. The back is blank.

E-F: Two papyrus fragments belonging together, dark-brown, written on one side along the fibres. The back is blank. Papyrus 2528 belongs to the same papyrus.

G: Lower left portion of a medium-brown papyrus, written on one side across the fibres; the front bears the beginnings of 6 lines; lower and left margins survive. The back is blank.

A papyrus sheet, light and brown by patches. Damaged in the top left corner and broken off at the bottom, but complete on either side. Ink is faded in places, especially in the first lines. Writing is along the fibres on the front, with the exception of one line, written across the fibres from top to bottom of the left margin; on the back there are portions of four Greek lines and, after some blank space, two Coptic lines written along the fibres. The last line, written the reverse way up, is in Greek. Mounted in a glass case.
