Fragments of varying size, some of which are dark brown, from a papyrus roll; mounted on cardboard and housed in seven frames named Papyrus 2565(1), Papyrus 2565(2), Papyrus 2565(3), Papyrus 2565(4), Papyrus 2565(5), Papyrus 2565(6) fragments and Papyrus 2565(b). Most of the fragments were joined up to form five columns of writing; frames 1-5 house the fragments forming these columns; the fragments housed in ‘Papyrus 2565(6) fragments’ and ‘Papyrus 2565(b)’ remain unplaced. There were further columns preceding the first reconstructed. Writing is on one side along the fibres.
