- A letter from Platon, strategus of the Thebaid, to the inhabitants of Pathyris encouraging them to remain loyal to the king during the revolt in the Thebaid and to support Nechtyris, appointed as commander, until Plato’s arrival. The address is on the back.

Papyrus sheet, badly mutilated; writing runs along the fibres on either side, the back having a two-line address. On the front the text consists of 16 lines, very fragmentary; a trace of ink is visible at the bottom. All margins are extant, the right being irregular and minimal in places. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
