9. Officium de Conceptione B. Mariæ Virginis. The volume is in great confusion, having been taken to pieces after being injured by water, and rebound without any regard to the contents. Vellum; xvith cent. Executed in France, with numerous miniatures and borders, for Francis II. and Mary, Queen of Scots, whose arms are at the foot of the first page of the Hours of the Virgin, and whose portraits are said to have been in the border of the calendar for April and in the Commemorations of SS. George and Barbara. It subsequently belonged to "Jean de Maupéou, Euesque et Comte de Chalon-sur-Saône en Bourgogne" [1653-1677], and to Pierre Besuchet. Octavo.
