Bound together with Or 9924.
Fol. 10, the original back flyleaf of the MS, contains a fragmnent in Arabic about the laws of salting meat.

Parallel foliation in Eastern Arabic numerals in ink: fol. 2 = fol.٤, that is fol. 4 (upper left corner of fol. 1 is damaged). This shows that 2 leaves are missing from the beginning.
Unfoliated leaf before fol. 1 and fol. 10 itself used to be the flyleaves of this MS (before it was bound together with Or 9924).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 228: inscribed with his name on fols. 1r, 9v, 10r; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v.
