According to the card catalogue (copy can be found in Catalogue of Hebrew Manuscripts in the Gaster Collection, the British Library, London[London: Hebrew Section. Oriental and India Office Collection, 1996]) on Gaster's list there was a note mentioning that MS was presented by Miss Lowy (late Dr. A. Lowy).

Provenance and Acquisition

Ownership notes: זה הסידור נאים אני יעקב משה בן לאדוני ... (f. 1r); ...נאום יהונתן בן מהר"ר שמואל מקלן כ"ץ בן י"ג שנים מ (f. 4r); 'נאום הבהעלפר כמר זכרי[ה] י[ום] ט[וב]? מק"ק דאביטשויא (f. 24r, Tovačov = Tobitschau/Dobitschau = דאביטשויא).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 976: inscribed with his name on fol. 1r; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 18 March 1931: inscribed on fol. 28v.
