ff. 1r-87vTitle: ExodusContains Exodus 13:17-15:1, 15:22-17:7, 18:1-21:36, 22:4-30:21, 30:33-32:29, 33:12-34:26. Pointed and accentuated Hebrew text, with a translation and short commentary in (Judeo-)Arabic.
The Hebrew text is arranged into the following sections (corresponding to parashiyot petuhot u-setumot): chapters 13:17-22; 14:1-14; 14:15-25, 26-31; 15:1; 15:22-26; 15:27-16:3; 16:4-10; 16:11-27, 28-36; 17:1-4, 5-7; 18:1-12, 13-27; 19:1-25; 20:1, 2-6, 7, 8-11, 12, 13-17, 18-21, 22-26; 21:1-6, 7-11, 12-13, 14, 15-17, 18-19, 20-21, 22-25, 26-27, 28-32, 33-34, 35-36; 22:4, 5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17, 18, 19-23, 24-26, 27-30; 23:1-3, 4, 5, 6-9, 10-19, 20-25, 26-33; 24:1-11, 12-18; 25:1-9, 10-16, 17-22, 23-30, 31-40; 26:1-6, 7-14, 15-30 (verse 22 added in the margin); 31-37; 27:1-8, 9-19, 21-21; 28:1-5, 6-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-29, 30, 31-35, 36-43; 29:11-37, 38-46; 30:1-10, 11-16, 17-21, 33b, 34-38; 31:1-11, 12-17; 31:18-32:6; 32:7-14, 15-29; 33:12-16, 17-23; 34:1-10, 11-26.
Each of the above sections is followed by the corresponding portion of the translation and commentary, both of which are distinguished from the text by smaller writing.
The end of a section is marked by a standard blessing formula.
The number of verses in each weekly parashah is registered at the end.
Some scant masoretic notes, including the marking of 'ketiv', are included.
Quotes several Karaite grammarians and other authorities, e.g. ʻAli ibn Sulaiman, Abu lʻFaraj Furkan, Abu ʻAli, David ben Boʻaz.
Filiation: The translation is often in agreement with the corresponding portions in London, British Library, Or 2545 by Abu al-Faraj Furḳan ibn ʾAsad.f. 1v, 16v, 28v, 45r, 57v, 71r Numerous decorated panels inserted into the body of the text, in colours and gold, at the end of each weekly parashah.
