Water damage, usage stains.

Water damage caused some of the text to be imprinted on the opposite facing pages.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 230; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 9 February 1928.
