Of the Hebrew text the following parts are preserved: 23:1-24:4, 25:3-5, 27:16-28:18, 29:1-11, 29:15-32:13, 32:20-36:22, 36:26-37:11, 37:18-38:7, 38:16-34, 38:38-39:8, 39:19-41:2, 41:5-42:7, 42:9-17.
Has a scribal subscription at the beginning.
Masoretic division into sections and קרי are marked in the margins.
The numbers of the chapters of the printed text have been added by a later hand.

Collation
18 quires (nos. 1-2, 4-19), originally of 10 leaves each (except the 18th which has 11 leaves).
Apart from the quires 6-8, 11-12, 17, all the quires are imperfect.
The quires are signed with Hebrew letters and Arabic words on the upper margin of the first page.
Condition
Lacunae after folios: 7, 8, 16, 22, 53, 71, 91, 99, 107, 115, 119, 133, 143.
Many folios stained or water-damaged.

Folio 150v contains a geneology of the previous owner and a rhyme.
Avraham ben Shelomoh ben Shemu᾿el ben Eliyahu ben Aharon ben Yitsḥaḳ ben Eliyahu Firuz: inscribed in a note, folio 1r .
An entry recording the name and genealogy of the same owner is also found on folio 150v.
Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), an antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Library from him on 08 July 1882: inscribed, back flyleaf (i)v.
