A Judeo-Arabic commentary on the Hafṭarot of Numbers.

ff. 2r-130vTitle: Perush ῾al hafṭarotTitle: פרוש על הפטרותThe pointed and partly accentuated Hebrew biblical text is embodied. The punctuation differs in parts from the standard masoretic recension.
The commentary is anonymous, but from the information on folio 4r and 6v it can be inferred that he lived in Egypt. The works quotes several authorities, including Targum Jonathan, Rashi, Abu’l Walid and Abraham ibn Ezra.

12 quires of mostly 10 leaves.
Quires signed originally with Arabic words on the first page and with Hebrew letters on the last page; most of the signatures are now lost.
Condition
Imperfect at the end.
A number of pages partially damaged (restored on modern paper); large signs of worming.
There are lacunae after folio 1 and 2.
