Custodial history: The documents have been produced by the high school based on their educational activities.
Author(s)/Creator(s): The Liceo Luis Urbina Flores de Rengo was the first men's secondary education establishment founded in the city of Rengo in 1878, a year before the start of the Pacific War (1879-1883). Its creation, promoted by the local community of the town, meant an opportunity to access professional education for the youth of the area then and today, as well as being a fundamental part of Rengo's history and memory. In 1913 the new building for the lyceum located in the city's Plaza de Armas was inaugurated and destroyed by the 1985 earthquake. Already in its new current location it took the name of Luis Urbina Flores in honor of his former teacher and benefactor, It serves mostly vulnerable students from farmers' homes, employees, and urban workers.
Arrangement: In 2017, the School Archives Program – financed by the ADAI Iberarchivos program – prepared a documentary cadastre in which series were provisionally identified. Currently there is no classification scheme.
