Scope & Content:

The collection is comprised of a set of St. John's College magazines, beginning in 1905, and housed in a metal cabinet in the St. John's College Library. The magazine is broken up by term and year, each volume listing an academic calender for the term, a brief history of the college, followed by lists of administration, faculty, courses, fees and rules. The balance of each magazine contains an assortment of essays on social and political themes, examination results, poetry, historical reflections, community news, donation details, reports from international old boy (alumni) associations, photographs, and advertisments.

Size and dimensions of original material: 16 files.

Custodial history: The materials in this collection are the property of St. John's College, having been collected at various times over the past century either as institutionally-retained copies or donations from the families of deceased alumni.

Arrangement: The collection is housed in a locked metal cabinet within the St. John's College Library. The magazines are irregularly bound and arranged on the shelf chronologically.
