Covers the western half of the island only, showing hydrology, contoured relief, roads and settlements. The sheets are respectively endorsed by Lt Colonel F. Luttman Johnson or by Lieutenant A.P. Frankland
The base map is IDWO 1212, printed in 1897, to which has been added the sheet lines and numbering of the associated contoured field sketches (WOOG/242/2/1). The data added to the smaller sheet does not relate to these field sketches.
