Genre: Portrait Photography Portrait of the horse, posed with three European figures: 'This pony, the property of Dr. Wheeler, of H.B.M. Legation here, was the winner of the Ladies Purse at the last Yokohama races.' (p. 29). Wheeler is presumably the figure holding the animal's bridle.
