Modern notebook on Talbot's parents, probably completed by Matilda Talbot (1871-1958), Talbot's granddaughter. It includes extracts and summaries of letters and possibly diary entries by Talbot's mother, spanning 1792-1835.
The notebook is largely unused save for a few brief notes on miscellaneous tasks concerning the garden, books, and London. Nineveh by Austen Henry Layard is noted, indicating that the notebook was used some time after 1849, when Layard first began to publish on the ancient Assyrian city.
