Business letter from Barhūn b. Mūsā Tahertī, from Alexandria, to Nahray b. Nissim in Fusṭāṭ, to be sent to the house of Ibn Isḥāq Ibrahim b. Isḥāq. Gil (1997: III 116-20)
Hebrew piyyuṭim (written, on recto, between the lines of an unidentified Arabic text), including a rešut יוצר בני אדם ונשמתם, with the acrostic Joseph, and another rešut, אודה לך יוצר, with the acrostic Abraham. A number of isolated words are probably the first words of other piyyuṭim.
Piyyuṭim for Sukkot and Šemini ʿAṣeret, with Hebrew headings. The text on recto has been written in between the lines of an existing Arabic document, inverted in relation to it.
Recto: theological notes on the chances of miracles, the ban on idolatry and the wisdom of the Lord. Verso: astronomical notes on the zodiac, Coptic months and planets (mercury).
