Payments to Staff of the High Commissioner for India
Scope & Content:
Home service pensions paid to retired members of the staff of the High Commissioner for India who had not served in the India Office, and to their widows. Records for the period prior to April 1955 are with the High Commissioner of India.
Accounts closed owing to the death of the pensioner - it should be noted however that deaths of pensioners at this period may also be recorded in the books of 'open' accounts. (Books of A-G and T-Z do not exist.)
Judges' Pensions, compassionate and miscellaneous pensions, civil services, pensions from the Bengal and Madras Services Family Pension Fund and the Bengal Pilot Service Family Pension Fund.
