- Arms, in colours and emblazoned, of the English nobility from the Conquest to circa 1572; apparently by "Aug[ustine] Styward" or Steward, whose name and arms are on the fly-leaves. A person of the name was mayor. of Norwich in 1534, 1546, 1556, and was alive in 1570 [see Blomefield's "History of Norfolk," iii. 219, 277, iv. 255]; another, son of Simeon Steward of Lakenheath, co. Suffolk, was a member. of the Inner Temple in 1573 [see Add. MS. 15,644, f. 70]. Paper; xvith cent. Large Folio.
