BEARDSLEY, Aubrey (1872-98). Undated autograph letter signed to Ada Leverson, advising that he is 'not able to come to lunch tomorrow'. The letter refers to the birth of George VI: 'Another good Prince! Outside the guns are booming him like anything.' Creation dates: [1895].
HOWE, Admiral Richard (1726-99). Fifteen autograph letters signed, mostly as Commander in Chief in North America, to the 1st Earl of Clarendon (Lord Hyde). Creation dates: 18th century.
HARRIS, Frank (1855-1931). Autograph letter signed to H. D. Davray, his French translator. Mentions Rodin, his own work, and the Boer War. Creation date: 12 Dec 1899.

BOSWELL, James. The Journal of a Tour of the Hebrides (2nd edition). Inscribed by Boswell to Edmond Malone. With Malone's manuscript corrections throughout for the third edition produced the following year. Creation date: 1785.
KIPLING, Rudyard (1865-1936). Autograph letter signed to Colonel Hart, regarding finding a position for his servant Kadir Baksh as he prepares to leave India. 'I can vouch for his being a good table servant'. Creation date: 8 Mar [1889] - year added in another hand.
RUSTEM PASHA (1810-1896). Autograph letter signed to Mrs Forbes, regretting that he is unable to accept an invitation (when he would have had the pleasure of meeting Sir Evelyn Wood). Creation date: 27 Nov 1893.
