14. A letter from Francis Alford, to the Lord Treasurer; requesting an Exchange of some lands with the Queen, Nov. 18, 1573. (Latin.) It is not signed, but apparently in the elegant handwriting of Tho. Gardiner.
18. Thomas Cartwright, to Mr. Hicks; thanking him for his late courtesy, and sending him a certain book, Dec. 9, 1573. The names of both parties have been carefully defaced, but not entirely obliterated.
20. A Christian remonstrance of the Senate and people of Rochelle, touching a sum of money they had borrowed, 1573. (Latin.) Remarkable for the beauty of the penmanship.
