Dated at the Navy Prize Agents Office, Port Louis, Isle of France, thanking Powis for his favour to other members of his family and requesting his aid to continue his employment in his current place.
Copy of a letter probably to Clive in support of Messrs Wilding and Petrie from their brother officers of the 1st Brigade. The list is headed by Thomas Goddard.

Protesting at the arrest of Messrs. Wilding and Petrie on suspicion of fomenting the officers' mutiny.
Copy of a bond for £3000 to be paid to Job Walker Baugh of Stonehouse, Shropshire, the contract to be void if the annuity of £200 due to Baugh is paid annually by Clive and his heirs.
