They, include fifteen documents of dates before the Norman Conquest, many of which are not to be found in Kemble's "Codex Diplomaticus Ævi Saxonici." The arrangenient is chiefly, under counties. The collection formerly belonged to Christopher, lst Viscount Hatton.
