Dated at Fort William. Five letters have been copied, dated 21 December and 27 December 1763 and 4, 20 and 25 March 1764. Most of the letters concern Bengal politics.

Dated at Benares, giving orders for the force under his command to return to Calcutta. The text has been much amended, suggesting that this is a draft letter kept as a copy of the one sent.
Petition to Clive from Sutton Banks and Thomas Smith, administrators of the estate of John Rose.
Scope & Content:
Dated at Calcutta, requesting his support in achieving the payment of an account sent with the petition (not attached) by the Zemindar of Backar Gange.
