Concerning the Inland Trade and efforts towards its reform, and treaties with Indian princes, especially Mir Jafar, and the suggestion that these have been oppressive in their content.
A letter and reply between Sir Robert Fletcher and Sir Robert Barker dated 21 and 24 April 1766.
Scope & Content:
The letters relate to the fire at Bankypore cantonment and the officers' mutiny. Both letters were enclosed in a letter from Fletcher to Clive on 25 April, which must be one of the two above, however there is no indication of which.
