The protester also outlines his involvement in the officers' mutiny. The protest is not dated, but was enclosed in a letter from Colonel Richard Smith dated in September 1766.
Dated at Bankipore. His report is divided into civil and military departments and their sub-departments. An annotation states that it was enclosed in Colonel Smith's letter of 17 October 1766.
