Decision that the pension continued to Muhammad Bakir after the death of his father Kadir Novaz Khan should be paid to his uncle and guardian Hafiz Ahmed Khan, until the son had attained the age of 21 years.
Captain Kennier Macdonald is granted an allowance of 150 pagodas 'per mensem' as Government Agent at Chepauk - he is also permitted to receive the extra allowance of 250 pagodas 'per mensem' assigned to him by the Nawab of Arcot.
The sum of 50,000 pagodas is advanced to the Nawab of Arcot [Azim-ud-daula] to enable him to celebrate the marriages of his two sons - the sum is to be repaid at the rate one lakh of rupees 'per annum', out of the Nawab's share of the Carnatic revenues.
