- Fragmentary letter to recommend Diodorus, the bearer of the message, to the recipient. The addressee may have been an acquaintance or colleague of Zenon, and for this reason the letter may have come to be among Zenon’s papers. The address is partly preserved on the back.

Portion of a papyrus sheet, broken off on the sides, complete at the top and bottom; with some damage along the horizontal folds; written on both sides. On the front, there are portions of 5 lines lacking beginning and ends, running across the fibres. Upper and lower margins measure 20 and 45 mm respectively. The back bears one word written along the fibres the other way up in relation to the text on the front. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
