A handwritten copy of a wooden pass issued by the Otona 乙名 of Moto-Furukawa-machi 本古川町 Nakano Jinzaemon 中野甚左衛門 allowing access to the island of Deshima for a servant. Probably issued for Engelbert Kaempfer’s servant Imamura Gen’emon 今村源右衛門 (1671-1736).
