From Erode: South Kanara. Just over the frontier of Coorg, Sullia is in the foothills of the Western ghats. B. it was very quiet and Bake made several records there. Most people who came were Pariyahs, who had harvest- and agricultural songs. A deer kept in the compound of Karanth's school.
