Plates for letterpress printing etched with illustrations and drawings by Mervyn Peake. Some, if not perhaps all of these plates, were used to produce Christmas cards and other greetings cards sent by Maeve Gilmore on behalf of the Peake family.
In addition to the correspondence of Stella Benson (1915-1933), there is a single file of three copy letters (1938) from James O'Gorman Anderson to R Ellis Roberts, Benson's biographer.
Four full-length works in typescript (Pipers and a Dancer, The Little World, Tobit Transplanted, and Pull Devil, Pull Baker), and a number of shorter works including examples of travel-related writing.
Benson's personal photograph albums, and a number of individual photographs, including professional photographic portraits of Benson, and photographs of a memorial plaque to Benson.
