Letter-books containing autograph copies and drafts of the despatches and letters written to successive Foreign Secretaries by Henry Watkin Williams- Wynn (K.C.B. 1851), as Envoy Extraordinary to the Elector of Saxony; 1804-1806. On the spines were notes (now ff. i, i) 'Sir R. Gordon 1804' and 'Sir R. Gordon 1806', but there is nothing to indicate how the volumes came into his possession.
