Material relates to environmental issues, individuals and organisations, with which Hughes was involved or in which he was interested. Many of these environmental files relate to issues concerned with the ecology of rivers and fishing.
Partly printed and partly autograph letters, postcards and photocopies of poems sent to Hughes by Charles Osborne who wished to compile an anthology of poetry written by past Poets Laureate.
