Genre: Portrait Photography Half-length portrait of Frédérick Antoine Louis Prosper Lemaître (1800-1876), a popular French actor much admired by Queen Victoria. Lemaître died on 26 January 1876, so this portrait probably dates from 1875 or earlier.
