- Apollos, possibly from Dionysias, notifies the royal scribe of the Arsinoite nome, meris of Themistos, of the death of his sister’s husband, registered in Philoteris, and asks that he may be added to the list of deceased. An order to the village scribe follows.

Long and narrow papyrus sheet, medium-brown, damaged by abrasion and insect holes; bearing writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are 24 lines written along the fibres; of the last line, only scant traces survive. Margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
