Letter of Zenon (P.Lond. VII 2019, TM 1581)
Scope & Content:
Letter of Zenon to the head of a district (nomarches) Achoapis, informing him that he has gone to Krokodilopolis in order to make the payments as agreed, and asking him not to vex his people any further. The address is on the back.

Extent:
Light-brown papyrus sheet, complete and well preserved; bearing writing on both sides. On the front, there are 3 lines written across the fibres, complete; all margins are extant. On the back, there is a word written along the fibres the other way up in relation to the text on the front. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Extent:
Two larger fragments with detached scraps from a medium-brown papyrus, reused as mummy cartonnage; poor condition; written on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are portions of 36 lines written along the fibres; of the last two, only a few traces survive. The papyrus is partly mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
