Interviewed by Harvinder Singh Giri on 5th June 1972. Mitt Singh was in the Indian Army from 1907 to 1926, and was in the 15th Sikh Ludhiana (Infantry). He served in France and Egypt during the First World War. He also served in the Afghan War in 1919.
