The document comprises copies of the indenture which delineated the foundation of Clive's fund, making provision for injured members of the Company army, their widows and children; the general regulations for transacting the business of the fund and instructions for the pensioners.
Copies of General Monckton's recommendation of Lieutenant Robert Williams and a memorial from Williams to the Company requesting a company in the Company's army.

Williams' previous service had been in the King's army; he includes a brief list of the engagements in which he had been involved.
Subscription list in aid of a project to widen the Stonebridge [English Bridge] at Shrewsbury.
