Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The image of King Bhupatindra Malla on the plinth gazes towards the Golden Gate, the entrance to the Taleju Temple. Next to the gate is the Palace with 55 windows.
Nyatapola Temple, consecrated in 1702, was built by King Bhupatindra Malla. The five roofs temple is raised on a corresponding number of terraces that dominate the Bhaktapur skyline.
