Field sheets covering routes in northern Hupeh (湖北) province. The surviving sheets cover routes between Yunyang (鄖陽) and Laohokow (老河口) and to the south-west of Yunyang. The sheets show relief, hydrology and numbered settlements, with name lists in romanised Chinese.
'(IV) Hsi-nan-fu [施南府?] to Ta-ning hsien [大寧縣] (10 sheets drawings, 2 tracings). All sheets missing.' - War Office ledger.

The surviving sheets are the tracings, covering the route from Hingan (興安) to Chengkow (城口), showing relief, hydrology, settlements, and the line of the route. Cover is limited to approximately two miles either side of the route. A numbered key gives place-names in non-standard romanisation.
