Dated at Fort William. This was evidently Verelst's first letter as President, as such he promises to serve the Company faithfully and outlines the latest news from the Presidency.

Dated at Newcastle, enclosing a copy of a letter from Matthias Mawson, Bishop of Ely dated 19 July 1767 recommending Mawson's nephew to be employed on a voyage to Madeira, Madras and China.
Letter to John Walsh, Christopher D'Oyly and Henry Strachey from Edward Wheler and John Stables, attorneys to Clive's estate in India.
