Varari Ragini. Two lovers are seated on a bed, the lady is waving a cloth while the man touches her breast. A maid is waving a ‘chauri’ on the right. Identified in Hindi: ‘Varari Ragini’ and numbered ‘23’; on reverse in Persian: ‘Ragini Bairari.’
Suha Ragini. A lady sits in a pavilion with a’ tambur’, singing the praises of her lover while awaiting his return. A confidante approaches her from the right. Inscribed with Hindi verse, identifying ‘Suha Ragini’; on reverse in Persian: ‘Ragini Suha.’ 236 by 154 mm; page 245 by 165 mm.
Asavari Ragini. A lady, dressed in a peacock-feather skirt sits on an hillock charming a snake and an ascetic plays a snake-charmer’s pipe while snakes twine around the trunks of trees. Identified in Hindi: ‘Asavari Ragini’ and numbered ‘35’; on reverse in Persian: ‘Ragini Asavari.’
