Covers a route in northern Honan from Weihui, 80 miles west-south-west to Menghsien (孟縣), then a further 15 miles west along the north bank of the Yellow River [黃河] to Pai Ko Kou. Shows the line of the route, and settlements. Place-names are given in Wade-Giles romanisation
Maps and associated material relating to a journey by Consul C.W. Campbell In Outer Chihli (外直隸) and Mongolia from June to October 1902. Surveyed and drawn by Havildar Chabbee Singh, 38th Dogras, who accompanied Consul Campbell on the journey.

Comprises a set of 8 sheets with a large single-sheet reduction, both covering the whole route; 5 pages of place-name lists; and 2 small town plans. The original 23 field sheets, referenced on the two versions of the route maps and on the name lists, are not present.
