Lalita Ragini. A youthful lover holding a garland and a floral wand leaves his lady sleeping in a pavilion at dawn; formal flower-beds flank the terrace and a simple hillside is beyond.
Reverse: a page of floral panels with Harivallabha’s Hindi verses interspersed in chevron pattern; the Persian identification is inscribed on a cockscomb plant in the centre.
Hindola Raga. Radha and Krishna are seated in a swing in a landscape with trees, with Krishna playing a ‘vina’. Two peacocks are perched above them and girl musicians are gathered on either side.
Khambhavati Ragini. A young lady worships Brahma who is enthroned in a pavilion. There is a row of fountains on the right and a starlit landscape beyond.
Reverse: eight elephants standing in water are inscribed with Harivallabha’s Hindi verses; the Persian identification is written on the sail of a ship which is manned by European sailors and has a lion for a figurehead.
