The heirs of native soldiers who died in Ceylon are to receive pensions according to the same rules as the heirs of those who died in the campaigns in the East Indies.
Native troops who were rewarded for their good service during the Vellore Mutiny of 1806 and who subsequently retire prematurely through ill-health are to receive a full service pension.
Monetary awards are made to certain native officers and NCOs of the Hyderabad Subsidiary Force who distinguished themselves by their loyalty during the unrest that followed the mutiny at Vellore.
