King Cnut grants privileges and renders of fish from Welle (Upwell and Outwell), Norfolk, and of eels from Lakenheath, Suffolk, to Bury St Edmunds Abbey; 1021 × 1023, spurious (Sawyer, no. 980). Endorsed in a 15th- or 16th-century hand, ‘Carta Regis Canuti’.
