Rules to be observed in the palace for the royal child birth according to the ancient Burmese customs. The work is divided in three parts: (i) Treatment of the time of the gestation, (ii) Rules to be observed when the time of delivery is near at hand, (III) Rules to be observed after childbirth.
This manuscript contains illustrations of Burmese Buddhist cosmology. The division of the work are as follows: 1. Arūpa bhuṃ 2. Rūpa bhuṃ 3. Kamma bhuṃ and Manussa bhum 4. Apaya bhum. There are many Pali quotations in each division.
