Letter relates to the loss of the Ahmed Shah, which was wrecked off Khen [Qeys] Island on the night of 10 July 1814. William Bruce writes that he hopes that it will be possible to recover a consignment of sulphur intended for Weguelin, which was on board the ship at the time.
