‘Scindea Pet from the Horse Artillery Lines Poona. Decr. 1831 W.M.’ Wash with some water-colour; 15.5 by 19 cm. Note: Mahadji Sindhia came to Poona in 1792 and erected this palace at Wanavdi, where he died on 12 February 1794 and was cremated nearby.
