'The Amir Yakub Khan, General Daod Shah, Habeebula Moustafi with Major Cavagnari C.S.I and Mr Jenkyns.' Proud and imperious, Cavagnari was chosen by the British as their envoy in Kabul knowing his arrogance would soon produce a casus belli.
